Welcome to our preschool in the heart of Munich. We are a parent initiative (Elterninitiative) run by a close-knit international community, providing a nurturing environment for our children. The parents are actively involved and fully responsible for running our preschool.

English Instruction: Instruction is mainly in English. However, some activities are conducted in German. In addition, we prepare all the children who are in their last year of kindergarten for their entry into the German school system.

Ages 3 to 6: Our preschool, founded in 1993, is open to kindergarten-aged children. Its small size ensures that the quality of education remains high, and that children have individual attention.

Montessori: Whilst our preschool is not exclusively following the Montessori approach, we offer dedicated Montessori activities to provide structure whilst encouraging children to follow their interests.

The preschool is a recognized educational facility and as such is a non-profit, subsidized institution. As a parent initiative, parents are obliged to take an active role in the administrative tasks and day-to-day affairs related to the running of the preschool. Besides the fixed responsibilities of each parent, parents also help out during the day in the preschool if there is a shortage of teachers due to e.g. sickness.

If you apply for a future opening, we will keep your application on file. If we are interested in proceeding with your application we will be in touch. Only after receiving an online application can we consider your child for a spot in the Preschool.
