Hello and welcome to our preschool, a bilingual Montessori parent initiative in the heart of Au in Munich. With us, children are encouraged to be curious, follow their own interests, and grow in a loving, mindful environment. We are a group of 20 children aged 3 to 6.

As a Montessori institution, we follow the principles of Maria Montessori and give children the space to act independently, discover, and learn at their own pace. Our prepared environment supports them in developing concentration, self-confidence, and joy in learning.

A central part of our daily educational work is our bilingual approach in German and English. The children experience both languages naturally in their everyday interactions — through games, songs, stories, and conversations — and in this way develop a natural feel for language playfully and without pressure to perform.

Our kindergarten is intentionally small and family-like. In our manageable group, we can respond individually to each child and accompany them attentively. The close-knit community creates a trusting environment in which children feel safe and secure. At the same time, personal and regular exchange with you as parents is especially important to us. As a parent initiative, we shape the kindergarten together and place great value on openness, appreciation, and a spirit of partnership.

Our dedicated educational team accompanies the children with professional expertise, experience, and a great deal of heart. We are happy to answer any questions or arrange a personal introduction, and we look forward to welcoming you and your child to our kindergarten.

Community — the Heart of Our Institution

We are a small, family-like, and international parent initiative. For this reason, one thing is especially important to us: a lively, appreciative, and reliable community. For us, community does not only mean sharing a kindergarten place, but also taking responsibility, being connected with one another, and jointly shaping a place where children and adults feel comfortable.

A parent initiative thrives when every member contributes their part to the whole. When tasks are taken on reliably, everyday life runs smoothly. This gives our educators the opportunity to focus fully on their most important task: lovingly and professionally accompanying the children.

At the same time, a strong community encourages friendships to form — not only among the children, but also among the families. From everyday togetherness, trust, openness, and a sense of belonging can grow. Those who feel connected to the institution treat it with mindfulness and respect. In this way, an environment is created in which appreciation, responsibility, and mutual support become natural.

This atmosphere creates safety and security. Children experience that they are part of a community in which people are there for one another. They feel accepted, can relax, and develop within a socially and emotionally stable environment. In such surroundings, children are more balanced and learn consideration, compassion, and solidarity — foundations that will accompany them far beyond their kindergarten years.

A good community has an effect far into the future. Friendships that begin in this setting often last for many years, sometimes for a lifetime. What we build together is more than organization: it is quality of life for children and families.
